An Israeli wedding planner who couldn’t plan a wedding for her husband’s birthday was shocked to find that the wedding she had set up for her friend’s husband would only be taking place on a weekend in June.
“It’s not even a date,” the bride, who requested anonymity, told The Jerusalem Report on Sunday.
“The plan is just to have a fun weekend and then we will go to the beach, or somewhere to relax, or something.”
According to the bride and her friend, the wedding was set up to be held on a Sunday afternoon at the wedding barn, which is located in the village of Mitzpei Ha’Kodesh.
“It is a beautiful place, and we are so happy to have chosen it for our wedding.
The barn is a lovely place for our honeymoon, and for us, the barn is the most important part of the wedding,” the groom, who declined to give his surname, told the newspaper.
“We wanted to celebrate our love, and to be able to celebrate together on the day of the groom’s birthday.”
The bride and the groom did not give their names, but the bride described their wedding plans to the newspaper as “the most fun and exciting one that I’ve ever been a part of.”
She added that the groom was very happy about the wedding, adding that the ceremony was very special.
“The groom is very happy, he’s been looking forward to it for years, and it was a really great experience for us,” the wedding planner said.
“I hope that the couple can be happy and will be able enjoy their wedding with us, and that our wedding will be beautiful.”
